1. Notice of Right to Opt-Out
Under state consumer privacy laws—including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and similar state statutes—consumers have the legal right to opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information to third parties, as well as the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information for targeted cross-context advertising.
2. What “Selling” and “Sharing” Means to Us
American Health Plan does NOT exchange consumer names, telephone numbers, or medical preferences for monetary payment in traditional data-broker lists. However, under state statutes, transmitting your eligibility data to our contracted Marketing & Carrier Partners to present insurance quotes, or utilizing third-party analytical cookies, may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” as broadly defined under California law.
3. Submit Your Opt-Out Request
Please complete the secure form below to exercise your right to opt-out of personal information sharing. We will process your verified request within 15 business days of receipt.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signals
American Health Plan honors browser-based opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser broadcasts an active GPC signal, our systems automatically treat this as a request to opt-out of analytical and advertising cookies on this device.
5. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written proof of legal authorization (such as a signed power of attorney or verified state authorization document). We may contact the consumer directly to verify identity and authority prior to processing.
6. Non-Discrimination Policy
American Health Plan will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your legal privacy rights. We will not deny you insurance advisory services, charge different rates, or provide a degraded quality of service because you submitted an opt-out request.
